Members of the Recreation Center can reserve the pool or weight room in 45 minute increments. These facilities have closed: City Hall, the Iowa City Public Library, City Park Pool, the Iowa City/Johnson County Senior Center, the Animal Care and Adoption Center, as well as Parks and Recreation's Robert A. Lee Recreation Center, Mercer Park Aquatic Center/Scanlon Gym, Terry Trueblood Lodge, and Ned Ashton House. Oakmont Recreation Center Oakmont is Sun City AZ’s first recreation center. Only one reservation per member will be permitted per day. The Iowa City Parks and Recreation Department believes that every kid deserves to learn to swim.

With the most recent facelift, completed in 2016, Oakmont has an updated look while keeping all of its original charm. Hurricane, UT 84737. The expansion in 2015 added 110,000 square feet of new space and updated sustainability and accessibility features to better serve the campus community. The facility is home to a full-size (or two smaller) basketball courts that can host volleyball, pickleball, basketball and other gym activities. Some equipment and amenities will be limited or not allowed at this time. The Rec Pool is fully wi-fi enabled and utilizes solar energy to assist with heating. This center has plenty of activities including Sun City AZ’s first and only salt water pool. The Laramie Community Recreation Center built in 2004, has a wealth of things to offer the community.
